I was asked to join the creative team running the Television Critics Association Awards (TCA Awards) in 2017; I, of course, was in charge of all creative related to host Kristin Chenoweth.
Always a willing participant, especially when comedy is involved, Ms. Chenoweth broke the record for most costume changes by a host of the TCA Awards, donning a costume for each of the top television shows nominated that year (The Queen, Stranger Things, The Handmaid's Tale, etc...). We collaborated to write the script, including all introductions and jokes about celebrities in attendance, solidify the costumes (we make a great quick-change duo), and rehearse her live singing performances.
